I was standing in the kitchen slash break room of my office building with some co-workers. Kim was going on again about her appreciation for the company. They gave here a chance when no one else would. Sadly I heard this story a million times. Luckly Jerry, the lovely man that hands me my paycheck every week came walking in with a wonderful surprise. He had his infamous yummy in your tummy brownies. They are to die for. As I go to take my first bite our resident clown Matthew comes running in the room yelling Fourscore and seven years ago at the top of his lungs. I dropped my yummy in your tummy brownie. Furious I walk over to him ask what his problem was. He explained to me that he just got the role of Abraham Lincoln in a community play. I could not be mad after that. I congratulated him, gave him a hug, and stole his brownie from the table. With a devilish smile I sneaked back to my desk brownie in hand and enjoyed my last 3 minutes of break with my brownie. Another day another brownie!!!!!

Fourscore and seven years ago a group of co-workers set foot in there home. They ate there dinner that was cooked in the kitchen. They rested on appreciation day and said boy, that grub was yummy. When they all rode a bus they ran over a child and caused a huge explosion. Which reminds me Paycheck the movie stunk.

Oh my...this one is right up my alley. OK, here goes:

I spent all day yesterday in my kitchen making food to take into my co-workers for today. Even though it cost me 1/2 my paycheck I knew they would show their appreciation and tell me it was yummy. Of course, fourscore and seven years ago, I would have been doing this without all of today's conveniences, so I can't complain about it being too much work!

Fourscore and seven years ago, our co-workers brought forth upon this kitchen, divine appreciation, and a decent paycheck that has allowed we, the employees, to purchase yummy vittles, with liberty and justice for all.

There... forget the paragraph, I'm going for a single sentence!

I was sitting at a desk in my house. It was the morning of my big history exam and I had to memorize the Gettysburg Address..and FAST! "Fourscore and seven years ago..." I started to recite it and then I heard a knock at my front door. I answered it and my co-workers were standing there with a big paycheck in their hands! I stood there in shock when one of them said, "Surprise! you won the Employee of the Month award, this check was made out to you in appreciation for your work at the Burgers Bonanza Restaurant." Wow!! I invited them in for drinks and I whipped up some yummy cappucinos for them in the kitchen. After that I showed off my burger flipping prowess outside on the grill. As we sat around eating burgers with all the fixings, I suddenly remembered the history test which started in 5 minutes! "Excuse me guys!" Throwing down my burger, I jumped in my car and headed off to class as fast as I could!!!
