Harrassment is a violation of the Yahoo terms of service. The terms of service page has instructions on how to submit a complaint. The problem is that since this is a free service this person will simply open a new account and keep on doing it.

In that case, make sure that in your new complaint you explain to them that this is an ongoing issue and include your previous complaint in it.

Well, when you receive such mails from any anonymous person, by watching the Full-Headder of that mail, you can recognize from which system them sent (There you can find full IP address of Sent System) ... You can find this information by clicking the option displayed your mail "Full Headder..." The Police Persons or Yahoo will trace out the senders's place by this information only. You lodge a complient against this mail by providing the information (With Full Headder Contents)... they sure trace the guilty.
If you don't like to take the risk, you simply add that ID to spam. I'm not sure for that person won't use another ID to send you messages (mails)again using another IDs. So, the Complient is the best solution for this all.....

Good luck... if the person is harassing or threatening you to the point that it warrants police interation, then Yahoo MAY turn the information over to them...

Otherwise... just block their email address and move on.

Don't bother! Just block or delete them. If its something serious then report it to Yahoo!
Good luck.

It's a lot easier to IGNORE him/her.
