Success, to me, means enjoying and being great at what you do; whether it's a high-powered attorney making seven figures, or a homemaker who doesn't generate income, but contributes in many valuable ways. It means being happy about who you are, not what you have.
The typical "symbols" of success: A large, well-appointed home, luxury car, exotic vacations, designer clothing... These are all things that many middle-class folks are indulging in, but can't truly afford it.
They rack up insane credit bills just to keep up with a lifestyle that is unrealistic for most people. What they don't realize is that these material items are symbols of debt, not wealth or success. Eventually it will catch up to them and they will pay dearly.
It makes me sad that my generation is so terribly shallow, and thus are raising exceptionally materialistic kids, with a sense of entitlement, who will grow up without an ability to navigate the real world. The parents are doing a huge disservice to their kids, who will never themselves know the true meaning of success.
Put down the Prada, people. Play with your kids.

Achievining the set objectives and goal is success and when it is done with a Win-Win situation, there is nothing like that. A benefit without any effort and not through objectives is only Luck.

Success is knowing Christ, and knowing He is my Guide. And that He hears my prayers.
That IS what I think,......
Nothing on the Earth matters as much as knowing I'm going to Heaven when I die.
