Piety is a desire and willingness to perform religious duties. It is a traditional virtue because religion is the only known way to win the favor or forgiveness of deities, that is, to "propitiate" them.

Piety is the willingness one feels to fulfill religious obligations and to be reverent to God, or a higher power. Also, you could possibly view piety as simply being pious or faithful to your parents, your country, friends, etc. Usually, we equate piety with being spiritual - but it can also be used in this other sense.
Everyone has their own example of piety, or gritty definition - here are a few more.

It really is tempting to tell u the meaning. I could not overcome the temptation to give you the better advice: learn to be more self-sufficient. If you don't have a real (made out of paper) dictionary at home, navigate to an ONLINE one and research it for yourself!!
Ain't no piety here, just laziness.
