From terrorism?We will always be vulnerable to it,but I think we are getting better prepared to handle it as time passes & security tightens up..
In general....Most major cities in the US have a criminal element that will likely be a mainstay in the future as society has always been subject to it due to uncontrollable situations,not to say small towns etc..dont have crime or psycho's among them,they do,so best thing a person can do is try to locate themselves in a safe environment as they do exist & can be created with public participation over time..*

They are as safe as any city in any other country. Bye and larege the people are genrally law abiding and th stray incidents of shooting , muder , theft , rape etc are nothing unusual in any cith in any othere partof the world . the rate of detection and punishement of offnders is also good.The Police in all sttes take prompt action on received of complaints or information of any offence .The reason is that the country allows migration selectiely on criterion that are conduc=ive to the progress and peace of the country.It allows immigation very selctively now , I think.
