Well, by saying you would be rewarded $100 you are saying the identity of the rightful owner is known. If it were someone very wealthy, I would probably keep my mouth shut and keep it. If it represented someone's life savings and all they had, I would probably have a third party contact them and negotiate for a larger reward. Candidly, if someone were offering only $100 for the return of two million, they are stupid. They should offer $100,000 - $200,000. If it were a company or big corporation, I would keep it. If it were a legitimate charity, I would send them one million and keep the other million.

I would keep a million of it and say I only found a million.

The other million I would spend wisly and carfully to make sure it didn't raise any red flags at least for a while that is.

maybe even start a small business to cover up some of the spending of my findings.

Oh gee, that's really tough. As this question is a fantasy (like you could possibly "find" 2 mill and no one would find out)...how about I'd keep it?

Anyone who could LOSE 2 million dollars really doesn't deserve to get it back!

If I found that it was lost by a large corporation or a bank or some insured source.....I would keep it. If it were a charity that lost it or someone's life savings, I would have to give it back.

I would keep it! That's the kind of money that can change a life! Its not like a few hundred or thousand. That kind of money you can make the life you want!
