It wouldn't be honest if you used someone else's intro.

Here's a title for you, " How hard it was for me to write the truth about honesty" and you can have it for free. I'm sorry I just had to edit this, I've been thinking about it all day. Since it's just an intro that you need, just stand up there and say, "When I found out I would have to give this speech, I knew instantly how it should begin. It's a well known fact that only a handful of truly honest people have never lied. I personally have never met any of them and I'm sure I wouldn't want to. Honesty has a way of ruining a persons day." " Does this dress make me look fat?" Why yes it makes you look terribly fat and so on and so on....honest people suck.....LIARS RULE good luck

Try this one, if nothing else you can brainstorm from it - good luck:
In this Information Age, I'm sure you'd agree that we live in the best and most challenging of times. We have unprecedented medical research at our fingertips, hybrid cars, longer life expectancies and freedoms that allow us to be whatever it is we choose. We are also in a war, 'terrorist' is a houshold word, gas seems more like a luxury and legislation lingers on the line of retracting the very freedoms that make America, 'America'. This is a brief yet honest assessment of our world. And it is honesty, or the lack thereof, that is the root of a long list of effects negatively impacting our lives.
Let us take a look at the meaning of honesty: how it has helped us, where/when we abandoned it and if we can ever get it back...

I can relate a couple true stories.
A fireman in NY was fighting a fire on fifth or sixth floor in an office building. He found several thousand dollars in cash. He stuffed the money into his boots.
Afterwards, he turned the cash over to authorities who in turn returned it to the owners.
Another was a little black boy, about 10, in NY. He found a very large and valuable diamond. He took it to the police.
Of course he was hailed as a little hero. When asked why he turned it in and if he considered keeping it, he replied, "If I owned a diamond that big and lost it, I sure would want it back."
Can I give you a true experience?
My late wife started a floorcovering business, while I was a buyer in a dept. store.
She had hired a new salesman, on commission.
He brought in a contract for a nice sale. She examined his yardage and called him in to the office.
"G., you've overcharged the customer on the amount of material. You have to call your customer and tell her you made a mistake."
He protested but called and said he had made an error, correcting the amount.
My wife looked at it again, and called G. back in. "G. You still are charging too much material. Call her back."
Sheepishly he did, and told the customer that the owner found another error.
My wife then checked the pricing and profit.
Back to the office came G.
"G. you've overcharged the customer on the price per yard. It's too damned high. Call her back and figure it to this price."
He did. He told the customer that on ordering the carpet, the mill had just reduced the price, and he could save her XXX dollars.
He never tried that again.
There after the customer and all her friends were OUR customers.

how far can you bend your topic?
Make up your own story, it is best to incoporate some real life events of either yourself or someone else or a mixture as nothing can be as powerful as a real life drama! Unless you are a super talented writer
try your best to suprise your audience coz that will keep them hanging on till the end. Then
end your story with this sentence.:
"honesty is not the best policy"

Well, people in hell want ice water, too, but that doesn't mean they get it. Especially when they nearly DEMAND it and don't even bother with "please." Besides, it's YOUR homework, YOU wrack your brain and come up with something. We all hate certain things however we STILL have to DO them!
