Does anyone know if people will be in costumes on the Saturday before Halloween on Bourbon Street? Has anyone ever been the Saturday before in the past? Are most people dressed up?

From my experience of Bourbon Street in the past, you can be dressed in whatever, b/c it's Bourbon Street. There doesn't have to be anything special going on (even though there usually is!!) to dress up. It's New Orleans, and crazy is the norm down in the French Quarter.

Not sure, but I'll tell you this - it could be more of a trick than a treat.
Crime is at an all-time high in the Crescent City.
Be very careful!
