You can buy a TV tuner card for your computer. Hook up an antenna or cable and then you can watch TV on your PC.

You are probably running a PC.
I am a Mac man so you might like to know this.
Running a PC or Mac with TV is not as easy as it sounds and when you do you still have a lot of hardware going waste. So--
Next year 2007 Mac are launching what they refer to as a box.
We think it will be everything you need for home entertainment including TV. Now think on it?
Hardware disc to record TV programmes, Music, Video, the lot all in one box. All you will need is a HD Monitor and your in element and up to date.
In case you didn't know it, a Mac can run Windows too.

if you download winamp, you can listen to free music and watch free channels in its media library, some anime, some simpsons some malcom in the middle etc its great but broadband recommended and you can filter out adult channels and such too
