How embarassing is it to be an eagles fan right now? I mean, u can't say anything, really!!! y'all were winning throught out the whole game, u had a 17 pt lead & y'all blew it in the 4th qrtr & let the Giants take over. Where was the defense? This was a huge opportunity 2 b 2-0, but like always, mcnabb & the eagles found a way 2 lose!!! ha ha ha, & this is how u guys r gonna take a superbowl, ha ha ha!!! Please eagle fans out there, I would like to hear an excuse (if u guys can come up with one) as to y y'all lost!!! Im still laughing!!!!!!!
oh, & by the way, im not an eagles fan or a giants fan . . . . Im just curious 2 c what eagle fans have to say. . . . we'll c u Oct 8th.

There's no explaining that loss... This is why we play 4 quarters of football and not get over-confident, slack off, and give up a 17 point lead. The Giants did not win that game, the Eagles lost it. There were so many missed opportunities on both sides of the ball... That game was SO important to us. That game was supposed to set the record straight that Philly is once again an NFC East powerhouse and a Super Bowl contender. No one will remember how we sacked Eli Manning 8 times or how we held Tiki Barber to minimal yardage or how we completely shut out Jeremy Shockey in the first half. All anyone remembers is that the Eagles handed NY what should have been a certain victory. Yesterday's game only opened the door to more criticism and questions as to the competence of this Eagles team. There's no use in pointing fingers... they played as a team and lost as a team. There's no explaining away what happened yesterday. It's embarrassing. It's painful. But (thank god) it's over. I have the utmost confidence that the birds will bounce back from this loss. They will learn from this mistake and play a full 60 minutes of football every week and not mentally check out half way through the game. They are every bit as good as they played in the first half and must continue to show that level of intensity and skill each and every week. It's a long season. Hopefully this loss will only fuel the momentum and the hunger of this team. They are winners and they'll prove that over the course of the next 15 weeks. Stay tuned...

Oh, man, that was harsh!! I did see that game and I am an Eagles fan. I was so upset! But that's okay, we'll come back! How 'bout that play where two members of each team caught the ball at the same time! That was probably the defining moment in the game, because the ball was automatically given back to the offense, which at the time, was the Giants. That's still no excuse for letting them gain all those points after such a huge lead, but that was still one heck of a play! That, and the Brian Westbrook touchdown. Hey it could've been a lot worse. Did you see the Lions and the Bears? I think the final score was 31-7.

I honestly think that the nfc east teams will all go 4-2, except for Washington, which will go 0-6. The Eagles will win in NY!

first of all willow why does your avatar resemble a frisco dike. Secondly, the eagles will bounce back this week. But I think that you are forgetting that the cowboys last week also collasped in the fourth quarter with drew "blew" bledsoe throwing interceptions at the end of the game. So f'off.
