did you check the battery cables and either clean or replace those too ?? a lot of times I see a coroded cable and thus the battery wont accept a charge from the alternator, so you use the battery power you have and the car dies . also did you replace the battery itself ? ..........they get so they wont hold a charge anymore either............... good luck

sounds like some thing is draining the battery at the same time as the motor vehicle is purely sitting and as quickly as began it will be ok if the alternator is working. your lights should not be dimming, i'd would desire to declare the voltage regulator is undesirable and that's interior the alternator. attempt unhooking your valuable terminal at night and notice if that makes any distinction the subsequent morning and if it does you have some thing draining the battery. How previous is the battery? it ought to truly have a nasty cellular.

Well it seems to me that you have a burned wire someplace. So instede of trying to find it just do this.
At the back of the alt you see a screw. This wire runs through a wiring untill it ends up at the battery.
Run a new wire from this screw to the + side of the battery. Idf the alt is working it will charge the battery.
(note) just be shure it is the same gage or size wire.
