Ok so I was worried i was pregnant even though i was on the pill. I take three packs in a row. I have now had my break and had a slightly heavier period than i normally do. It then went light pretty much from day 3 and carried on very lightly. It then stopped when i started the pill again and then today im spotting which only happened when i first took the pill a year ago(and then that was through out 3 packs). IS there a possibility i could actually be pregnant?

Surely if I have had a period that was painful and heavy then i cant be pregnant.

What do you mean you took three packs in a row? Was that to avoid having a period? What better way to stress out about being pregnant and not having a period? Be kinder to yourself next time and only stress out for a month! ;)
You've messed up your cycle maybe that's why you're still bleeding. Don't worry until you get into labour...
Only joking

the pill isn't 100% effective so there is a slight chance you could be pregnant. Take a pregnancy test which you can get free from the doctors or family planning clinic as soon as you can and discuss these symptoms with the people in the know! It could be perfectly normal, thinkgs like stress and losing or gaining weight drastically can affect your bleeding while on the pill ! hope this helps :)

it is normal to have a heavier bleed or a lighter bleed after stopping the pill even for a short period of time.the spotting after restarting the pill is pretty normal too,it can take a week or so to settle down, this has happened to my wife on a few occassions and she also did pregnancy tests which were all negative but if your still unsure do a test anyway.

There is a slight possiblilty as you are able to fall pregnant whilst on the pill (0.1% - Apparently!) and you can have periods too (unbelievable I know!) Anyhow the only way you can honestly find out is to take a pregnancy test. Good Luck!

I doubt very much if your pregnant, however if you think there is even a slight chance you could be then stop being so silly and do a test......if you are pregnant and continue to take your pill god knows the harm you may be causing!!

If you have taken the pill properly thoughout and havent been ill (sick/vomit etc), then the chances are slim.
You are not supposed to take 3 packs in a row, so that may have something to do with it.

My daughter got pregnant whilst on the pill, she had some medication for something and it counteracted the pill, so it can happen .

You could take a pregnancy test, just to ease your mind. But it sounds as if its more like your body is trying to adjust to being on the pill, not being on the pill, back on...
I think you're fine.

I don't think your pregnant, but its not good to take three packets at a time, your messing around with your cycle. Take one month at a time, and you will find your periods wont be as heavy and less painful.
