The 3rd season premiers on October 4th.

I have no idea what is going on. But here is my theory anyway, lol.

I think that the experiements are still going on and the scientists crashed the plane on purpose and put all those people on the island for a reason not yet known to anyone. I don't know what the experiments would be for. Maybe they are for the government.
