The other day an unusual white cat (with orangish ears and tail) cam upon my property. I didn't get a great feeling about it/metaphysical like. I have not fed it, it's likely to be hunting mice in the fields, but it's still hanging out. We have had cats before, so it's not like I don't want them, just this one is unusual. Any ideas?

What I would do in your situation is to go outside. Sit very calmly in your yard and see if it will come up close. When or if it does then I would ask it in normal tones what it wants. Then if I received a bad impression from it I would do a blessing on my whole property. But if I received a good impression then I would offer it some kind of peace treat, like meat or bowl of milk.

Well, it all depends your intuition level. If it's weak, you just may not like the way the cat looks or behaves, or it could remind of something or someone you don't like (it could be a psychological thing in the BACK of your brain). If the level is medium, I'd get spiritual counseling to be on the safe side. If the level's high, saty AWAY from that cat!!!!! NO JOKE because i have a medium/ high level of intuiution with people- if I find them normal and have a negative vibe from them for NO specific reason, they ALWAYS tuen out as evil people. I know because there were a few insidents where this has happened. One of them was one of the sweetest neighbors, Sally*. I met her and things were OK. I saw her here and there for a few weeks. The 3rd or 4th week, I got this extemely demonic vibe (as if she was a reincarnation of pure evil or something!). 6-8 months later, it turns out that she tried to kill a family member of mine, in a way that would have made it look like it was suicide. The story is a novel long... but what I'm saying is that the cat could be a reincarnation of something bad or is just naturally born an evil cat!! Other than that, it may be psychological.

Other than that, I know that white cats are said to be bringers of good news or blessings, but yours isn't pure white so... I get the feeling that it is foretelling good events that will arise from a powerful event. Orange ears and tail give me the feeling of a fire or something else that requires courage and creativity to arise from, having better things to come afterward.
I'm not saying your place is going to burn down now! Just that you may experience a major "clearing away" of something that will be replaced with something much better.
That's what I'm feeling, at least. That and you want want to consider leaving it an offering... just a little dish of milk or something, to show it your good will and that you recognize s/he's there to tell you something. After that, it will likely move on.

I make it a point to practice the belief 'innocent until proven guilty.' HOWEVER ;-), I also use proactive methods of environmental protection. Shields, Smudges, Statements of Intention, etc. :-)

ahhh thats the spirit of my cat that was killed by the coyotes it sounds like it looks just like him ,it really wasn't my cat but i would feed it and it loved me,you should feed him .
