i use the one hand backhand, you may want 2 make sure your back is straight( posture wise from the waste up, you don't want 2 reach for the bal if u can avoid it(may be necessary @ times)make sure u follow through)keep eyes on ball avoid following shot with eyes, look across net well after shot.umm forehand it sounds as if your racket maybe open(the racket face pointing up a bit 2 much,(keep wrist firm-maybe rolling the wrist which can open up the racket face) keep racket face level, after u take back the racket,u want the racket to be lower than the ball, may need some topspin so that gravity will bring the ball down into the court, keep your elbow close to the body, when u hit the ball u want 2 give a brushing, rolling effect also( up against the back of the ball, dont reach once again follow through with your elbow facing the other side of the court, racket ending up arpund your neck.remeber you are hitting with a rolling effect 4 tospin, hope this helps, also watch you thinking if u err forget about it dont belabor err. also be relaxed lose, being tense & tight can pose trouble, have loose relaxed muscles, it's a feel ,be free & u will see the results, dont get 2 high nor 2 low emotionally out there & kick butt,oh u may want 2 hit just underth e ball(6:00-a little under the 6

I'm assuming that you're talking about basketball.
My best shot is that basketball has drained our entire community of the ability to succeed at anything else. Why not cut back your hours of ball-bouncing and tutor a small child, take a class in karate or clay sculpture, or learn speed reading or sign language?
Nobody has the number of hours wasted on a basketball court listed in their obituary. Please, widen your skillsets and horizons!
Edit: On second thought, it looks like you play tennis. Good exercise. I suggest you do exercises that improve hand-eye coordination and focus on mastering completion in the middle distance. After looking at your profile, it seems that you are a football nut, baseball enthusiast, etc.
Please, please, find something productive to do with at least a little of your spare time that interacts with and helps other people, and/or enriches another side of you besides sports.
Good luck!

My wife used to practice with the coach for Venus and Serena... she even played Andy Roddick before he became famous.... she tells me to just keep practicing and have confidence in my shot. Swinging with confidence actually works!
