Christian extremists have bombed abortion clinics.
Do you really think people became suicide bombers because the Pope insulted them? The previous Popes tried to foster understanding between the faiths. Pope John Paul dialogued often with religous leaders of other faiths including Islam.

Of course not. Suicide bombers are used by the weak and powerless. Nations with an airforce, bombs and cruise missiles don't need to deliver their bombs via such crude, primitive means.
It should be noted that suicide bombings have nothing at all to do with insults. If you think groups like Al Qaeda in Iraq are doing suicide bombings because of what the pope said, you haven't been following the news closely.
Suicide bombings are political in nature anyway, not religious. Their purpose is to "compel a modern democracy to withdraw military forces from the territory that the terrorists view as their homeland". For details, see the sourced link.

Wow communicate approximately being stereotypical, i'm no longer Muslim or Catholic, yet heavily, it replaced into kinda pointless to team the religion like that. The IRA have been Nationalists, you may no longer label them as Catholics. i know lots of Catholics who help the Monarch and Norn Iron and so on. besides, yeah, the IRA are greater cowardly then the muslim extremists. additionally the Muslim extremists have self belief they're going to be rewarded for suicide while the IRA have not got self belief in any earnings from it... There you bypass! and that i apologise for ranting, yet those generalised stereoypes are what have started conflicts in places like NI, and that upsets me. :)

No,they did their share of killing during the Crusades and the Inquisition where they tortured people as well as burning great people(like Copernicus for saying the Earth was round and revolved around the sun).I think they've gotten most of the killing and torture out of their system. Now they just hoard money and the Pope insults other religions.

Not necessarily. There are always radical-minded people out there, who act without the sanction of the majority. We've had them blow up a few abortion clinics.

It would have happened before now. Same with any Protestant denomination. Remember hearing or reading "Thou shalt do no murder"? That also includes suicide.
BTW, Christian-bashing seems to be politically correct.
Did anybody hear Rosie O'D the other day?
And no apologies from her or the network.

MAYBE Bush's sending our troops to invade Iraq under false pretense (no Wmd's, no Saddam-Osama connection, not home office of terrorism, not perpetrators of 9-11) and the Pope's comments are part of one and the same intention: to INSTIGATE more terrorism, and bring on WWIII.
Bush has never supplied ONE CONCRETE UNCHANGING TRUTHFUL reason for invading Iraq...and the Pope cannot possibly be that stupid.
