maker
model number
type - laptop/desktop/tower
monitor - CRT or LCD flatscreen
processor type and speed eg Pentium P4 400mhz
memory
hard disk size
CD drive speed and whether it is a writer as well as a reader
DVD?
version of Windows installed 95/98/2000/XP
extra programs such as MS Office
printer make, model
modem/scanner
why you are selling it

this is all assuming that the potential buyer knows what they want. A better approach might be to state make and model and just say "this would be an excellent first computer for a student or someone wishing to learn about using a computer without the expense of buying a new machine" Sell the benefits not the spec.

You need to list the processor used and the speed of the processor. How much ram you have is a critical piece of information. The size of the hard disk as well as optical media capabilities (dvd, cd, burner vs read only etc) are good to know. The type of graphics card and onboard memory is very informative. Any preinstalled software including operating system and other hardware included (monitor, printer, scanner) should round out your ad.

considering to sell OR buy a computer, you must take many stuff into consideration.i will list them below. 1)Monitor Size(if LCD,more expensive than CRT) 2)Keyboard,Mouse 3)Hard Disk Space(in GB) 4)RAM Size(in MB can be SDRAM ,DDr or DDr2 ->533Mhz {DDr's are better since they read the data from both sides(Double Data Random Access Memory)
5)BUS Speed(the speed of communication between devices in MHz) 6)CPU Speed(in Ghz) 7)CPU cache size(varies from 64K->2M cache) (the bigger the better) 8)VGA card size(can be External or built inside the motherboard, externals are better for performance since they have their own Memory 9)Built in Network Card 10/100 Mpbs 10) Modem (if needed)
11)mutimedia stuff ( speakers,mic...) THese are in GENERAL the stuff you should take into consideration.
