I have an english class tomorrow and I am supposed to talk for 2 to 3 min on any topic of my choice. Pls Help!

I want to say something that can make the guys laugh or atleast sumthing catchy and funny.( Especially to impress my love!!! )

You have left this till the last minute so your probably going to feel even more nervous if you construct a pre-written speech. It will take a while to memorise too. So,instead you should think of what your hobbies are...have you ever won a medal for something or won a competition? Just choose a subject your happy with then do a brainstorm on it to list as many sub-branches as possible. Scan them before the lesson and then just talk freely. Once you get going you can often flow easily for 2-3 minutes and gabble for britain!

Alternativly...name 5 items you take on a desert island with you. Choose funny/memorable items and then say why you chose them. This is personalising your speech and allowing you to waffle a bit at the same time.

Since you seem to have an interest in airlines why not give a talk about them or how you would like to become a pilot.

Talk about why you would like to fly and the feeling of fulfillment you would get to combine you love of flying with the chance to do it as a job.

Compare the feeling of freedom a bird must get as it soars high above the ground with the restrictions you would get as a pilot as you would be restricted to scheduled routes and air corridors but that as safety of your passengers would be paramount this is something you would accept.

I think you should talk about your self, like what yo want to achieve in the class and in your future. Talk about things you like and things you dont like. If you want to impress your love he should love you for who you are. you dont want to write down something fake and then not have nothing to talk about, if you know what i mean. hope i helped.
