I remember when Ron Powles was being toted as a possible two time Heisman winner when he brought Notre Dame back in a game against. . . yes. . . NORTHWESTERN!!! WHEN NORTHWESTERN WAS HORRIBLE!!! Brady Quinn. . . I have nothing against him. . .but he IS just another overhyped Notre Dame player. The only thing more overhyped than Quinn is the whole Notre Dame team and Coach CHarlie Weiss! Notre Dame will lose at least three games this year. . . and. . Brady Quinn will NEVER win a Heisman and will be a backup or third string QB at best in the NFL. Notre Dame does not deserve to be in the top 25. How did they get to #2???

hahahahaha they got their A$$es kicked... I was wondering myself how they are seen as such a high rank with such a pitiful team... I was also slightly disappointed with the quarterback... I would say they played as bad as Duke this weekend, but maybe they just had a bad day?
this is obviously not a professional football fan opinion, i know nothing about stats, players, anything technical that has to do with the game. I know which teams suck and which ones are good... and the "hyped" players, thats about it, Maybe b/c I am female im not as interested in all that, I just love the game and love to pick a team and see if they win...
hahaha its like knowing only enough spanish to get you around town in Mexico...

unless its NCState or VTech they are my college teams =)

You are incorrect! Powlus was severely overrated out of high school and it took a while for him prove that he was not what they thought it would be. Brady Quinn is a very good QB who thrived as soon as he came under the tutelage of a quality QB coach. Brady Quinn will likely not win the Heisman but he will finish in the top five in the voting. Charlie Weiss is the real deal and Notre Dame will be back to national prominence as long as he is there. Brady Quinn had one bad game this week and all the ND haters want to come out of the wood work and jump on his back. He will be a starter in the NFL but not a superstar.
Notre Dame is a legitimate top ten team this year and will finish that way. #2 was a little high but you will see that they are much better than you ND haters are hoping for.
One bad game and you all reappear.

Notre Dame is overhyped in general, but Quinn IS a solid college QB. He's probably one of the best five QBs in the country, but the hype machine has made him out to be the second coming of Joe Montana. He's probably going to be a Dan Fouts QB in the pros-- lots of big numbers, no championships.

you are able to no longer count type out Cleveland or Tampa Bay to boot because of the fact the earlier suggested Detroit and Oakland. All 4 of those communities are interior the working for the #one million %., as a rule because of loss of production on the Quarterback place. It seems as though Quinn is going to be the precise rated prospect at QB. So a greater effective question may well be, of those 4 communities, that's the final greater healthful for Brady? i might say TB in spite of if that's extremely in simple terms the lesser of four evils!

After watching all 3 Notre Dame games, I'm surprised they won them, but I will not put it on Brady's shoulders. The offensive line is letting themselves be dominated, not giving Quinn the time he needs, and his receivers are not running their routes correctly, nor are they running them as hard as they could, which is why Jeff and Rhema are never open. Brady Quinn and Darius Walker are doing everything they can to carry this team, but the line and the receivers are killing them. And don't get me started on the defense.

No, Ron Powlus was supposed to win 17 Heismans according to Beano Cook.

Farting Amish lose again this week to the team that has dominated them for nearly a decade, Michigan State.

no he's better then Ron, maybe over hyped but ND usually is in general. They got to #2 based on their coach and the excitement of a close game to USC last year. Everyone seemed to forget they got their a** kicked in the bowl game. There next game should be interesting. They often have a hard time with MSU but ND should win

yes, for many reasons. The main reason is because he can barely throw a football. Henne deserves the Heisman for his stellar performance on Saturday
