I know this sounds STUPID, but I had been trying to get a Land Disturbance Permit, so I could begin site development for a shopping center. This permit was held up for months by the city's engineering dept because of some drainage issues. I had to find places to use my heavy equipment and manpower until I could start pushing dirt. I had my guys sweeping sidewalks and doing touch up painting just to keep them employed....
When I finally had that permit in my hand, I literally kissed it before I put my men to work
