I smoked for 9 years and finally quit about 3 months ago. I have some wrinkles and was just wondering if my skin will bounce back, or if I'm stuck with these wrinkles. I've heard that when you quit smoking a lot of times your skin improves. Does anyone know if that's true?

To Heather A. I was fully aware of the consequences of smoking. I made a mistake. I'm sorry not everyone is as perfect as you are. I'm sure you've never done ANYTHING wrong. Quit being a whore. Thanks!

it will improve a bit but you have to use the best protections to prevent having more wrinkles,
1) don't smoke anymore
2) dint go under the sun very much
3) use eye creams at night and in the morning
4) eat fruits and vegetables everyday
5) if you can afford , go for massage every month
good luck

I have heard that it will improve. I would suggest going to your local dillards lotion department that carry this product that has botox in it and it is the most amazing thing ever. You can actually see it workning that very second. Also I would suggest that you put oil of olay moisturizer every morning on your face(my grandma did and she has no wrinkles at all!(she is 52) But then again she has been using it for a very long time!

I've always liked Clinique products. You should try some of those.
Also, don't listen to jerks like Heather. She probably has done something very horrible in her life and likes to make others feel bad for making mistakes as well.
Shame on you Heather for being so rude!

Yeah, I noticed this too.Drink healthier, Eat healthier; stay away from fast food.Staying out of the sun for awhile especially during peek hours helps too. Vitamin E capsules should help. Your body has built up toxins so help flush these out go to your health food store in your area or buy a book on the subject.Don't forget to drink more water but not in excess.

Early in the morning drink at least 6 glasses of water ,initially this will be very difficult but after few days that should be fine .This way your body will flush out the toxins and apply honey on your face with olive oil ,if your skin is sensitive don´t use olive oil .you can try a cream with Shea butter and please don't go for facials or any other type of face lifts .expose your face to fresh air .Best of luck . don´t waste your time with expensive cosmetics .

i would be carefull with your skin...make sure that you take good care of it....make sure your properly cleanse and moisturize every night and morning and use a wrinkle cream/agedefying cream....i would suggest H2O products because they're non abrasive to your skin...and dont pull on your skin when your puttin on makeup it will stretch your skin out and increase the amount of wrinkles you have.
I smoke and have since i was 15 im 21 now and i tan everyday...i just take really good care of my skin and i have yet to get a wrinkle...so good luck :)

Try Arbonne's Re9 Anti Aging skin care formula. It is expensive at first glance but the kit lasts about 6 months because it is highly concentrated. It works! I know lots of people who use it because I am a consultant for Arbonne. I would love to talk to you more about it and show you how to get 35% off. Contact me at sunnyside_64@yahoo.com

Drink plenty of water too - I think that your skin very well may stop aging rapidly without the cigarettes.
