You have to read the whole speech to get it. But that being said, yeah, he could have used a butterfly analogy instead.

Maybe it was an intentional usage to elicite the reaction and help galvanize Catholics in a time when the Church needs it the most.

Interesting thoughts. Good question!

Odd really, people can say what they want about Christianity, and have been for years - but as soon as someone mentions something bad about Islam, things start going to hell.

Why are you so insecure about your religion?

It was told that this Pope..had different ideas..did things different....its harder to do this job..than any -other important figure...because people look at what he said is right out of the Bible.....they believe in him..where Bush no-one cares...
