I actually like going to bed because of the dreams. I know it's crazy, but every night I wonder what I might dream. Usually, it's something meaningless. Sometimes, they seem like the whole world at the moment, but when I come out of the dream I realize that it was actually a funny episode. Lately, I've been dreaming some adventurous stuff, like moving into a cold, dark house with a large family.
There was a time when I dreamed a lot about saving a family member from the hands of some very cruel people, or trying to run away as a hostage with another family member. It was wierd!

This is not as uncommon as you might think. Not only do I treat people with exactly this issue, but have been victim to it myself over the years. Normally, this fear comes from a very practical source - you've had some seriously disturbing dreams and are understandably anxious about having yet another one. The best way to deal with the dreams themselves is to discuss their root cause. If you'd like to do that, use the email address in my profile and we can discuss this privately.

Dreaming isn't real.
If you have trouble distinguishing real from imaginary, perhaps you need to see a professional.
