why does it have to be three??? are they all supposed to be related or can they be one each for three seperate objectives???

i've completed my MA. So educationally: I want to get into an Ivy League School. Get into their PhD or PsyD programs. Graduate with @ least a 3.8 GPA. Personal: Learn to speak French fluently. Travel to Europe. Purchase a house before I'm 26. Career: Get a salary increase. Be a VP of a company. Have my own business.

okay-
educational (some of these may be more personal but i'm putting them here cuz i don't go to school or anything)
1) i would like to read 3 books by the end of the year
2) i would like to learn more about cake decorating
3) crap, i don't know, i would like to travel and study culture.
personal
1) i would like to lose 20 lbs. by christmas
2) i would like to fold the laundry on my sofa
3) i would like to take more walks
career
1) i would like to write a novel and have it published
2) i would like to successfully start my own business
3) i would like to retire by the time i'm 35.
i don't know if some of these are more wishes than goals. :)

Won't do you a bit of good to solicit someone else's opinions. What do you want to be when you grow up? Don't you have your own dreams and aspirations? You can't live vicariously in someone else's. Be your own person. You know who you are. Look around you at people you admire. Those are the kind of people you want to be like.
