It is............. against Fulton County.
Don't take it so seriously, he's just being a clown. I live in the San Joaquin Valley ( California's version of Appalachia) and people here, are always poking fun of the "Okies".
Now to dissect an Okie, you'll find and hard working, honest human with a strong sense of right and wrong. The kind of person whose word is so strong a bond that a handshake is merely a formality. These people (the Okies) have the sharpest self deprecating wit and are without a doubt the reason this valley is so awesome. We should all be so lucky to be Okies.

It's actually an opinion. A rude and crude one I admit but hardly slanderous. Try being a blond. And to top it off, born and raised in WV. I get comments similar to yours all the time from obnoxious people. Most times I just say..."and proud of it", they don't know what to come back with. Personally I think they are just jealous.

If you are serious about persuing this as harassment....
1. Document everything..times, dates, witnesses. This will stand up in a legal situation.
2. Will these witnesses admit you were harassed? If they won't, it's his word against yours.
3. Contact a lawyer that handles employment law.
4. Check out these websites.

i would not say itis slander exactally but is considered a form of harrassment and its against the law. You tell him once that you dont like the way he is talking to you and if it continues then you have a lawsuit. You need to see if the company you work for has a union and ask for a represenative to talk with the boss in your presence..........remember it does not have to be sexual to be harrassment

Yes,it's definitely slander. You don't have to give up your job straight away if you don't want to. You could seek legal advice, and maybe get some proof, such as on a phone video,or ask anyone else who's had problems with your manager to back you up. You must have a boss above him,do they know what's going on?Good luck

Slander laws are left up to the counties.
The definition is most common in speech. However to prosecute, if they wrote it or yes, if you could get it on tape or have witnesses.

go to a lawyer. there are some that give you a consultation for free. sounds like an interesting case but you need to speak to a lawyer before you do anything

Probably not..
If they said it to you, it is not slander...
If they said these things publicly and to other people ( and you can prove it ) and it damaged you in some way then it is slander.
