There will not be a holy war between christians and muslims. Already Pope has expressed sorry for wounding the minds of muslims by his expressions.

Because of the POPE??!!! NO. If the pope had said bad things about Jews, he'd be burned in effigy and insulted, but no nuns would die and no churches will burn. Islamist are turning this into a holy war instead of dirty words of one man. They also believe that all westerners are christians, which is not true.
This is just one big mess. Islam needs to bury its head because it will never have a day when NO ONE insults it, its only alternative is to destroy all non believers since there seems to be no tolerancy in that religion.

Sorry friend Amir....I would never abuse anyone. Nor would I ride a bike into a group of children and blow it up. What excuse is there for that? Whatever this sect of people believe in, it's not GOD.
The anti christ will come and come into the holy land. Read the bible. It tells you so.
Tell me something. Who speaks for Islam and the Muslims. The Pope speaks for Catholics, perhaps Christianity as a whole, but he embraces all religions. Because he made one slip of the tongue all hell breaks lose. Why aren't the priests or elders of Islam calling for peace...LOUDLY...an apology isn't enough. Nothing will ever be enough. Frankly, the world is tired of being caught in this crossfire. At least the atheists can say the hell with you all, if this is religion forget it, and they're not being hypocites.
I mostly blame Bush for being too stupid to know what he got his country and our world into.

There will not be a holy war. Holy war is an oxymoron. How can a war be spiritual or holy?
There is however a world war being fought between the moslems and everyone else.
No the pope didn't start it. islam has been at war with everyone else since mohomed, cursed be his name, was born.

As a Catholic I'm asshamed of the pope. I think there would still be a holy war even if he didn't say what he said. I'm upset over the whole thing. Yesterday during 7:00 am mass father said to forgive the holy father ( the pope) due to his lack of knowledge. I hate this pope. I liked John Paul II better than I like Benedict the 16th.

It is not the popes fault muslims are shitting their pants over what he said, He QUOTED a statement made 200+++ years old.
If there is a war the muslims bough it upon themselves for shooting a nun dead and her bodyguard in retaliation to what the pope said.
When the da vinci code came out, Christians were offended , but they did not kill monks
When the Passion of the Christ came out, Jews were somewhat offended yet they did not shoot priests..
Muslims need to stop reacting to situations with violence and get educated, Seems to be that mel gibson was wrong, Jews aren't responsible for all the wars in the world.

no there will not be any holy war. and remeber meaning of jihad in islam isn't that kill innocent people or civilian or other nation meaning of jihad is struggle. if you study real soul of islam you'll get to know how much peach there's in islam. and for miss eve remeber if you'll abuse some one he will definitely show you some reaction for example If I abuse you I'm 100% sure that you will not call me for treat or party in reaction you will abuse me so plz when ever you pass comments about some one always think whether it will be good for him or her or it will hurt him or her coz all humen beings are equal it's not like that people live in west or USA are humen beings ok
