Is there some sort of gadget I can buy that I can use as a modem to connect my Sprint cell phone to my laptop? know certain devices exist, but are created by Sprint and charge you for their data services. I just want to connect to my cell phone without Sprint recognizing it as data, just as a regular phone call.

I'm with Sprint and I have a Web icon....just hit it and you'll go to the 'Net. You can do this on a monthly rate (low) or individually at $.10/minute. If your phone isn't Web enabled, nothing will help.

Theoritically, it is available. yet isn't it too costly to pay the cellular telephone provider provider quotes by using the minute, besides to paying the Sancharnet people too for their information superhighway utilization? greater powerful decision could be to ask the cellular telephone provider people to grant GPRS and skim the internet on your cellular or connect on your laptop or computer laptop by using an USB cable or by using bluetooth?
