It's hard to say. If it was legitimate, why has there never been a return trip to further study the moon, or use it as a launching pad for further space travel. I find it hard to believe that we made it to the moon, and then decided it's just too boring to bother going back to actually study the composition of the rock, etc. It's been almost 40 years, and no one else has landed there either, it was supposed to be the big space race, the US and Russia were both working to get to the moon first. The US claims to make it there, so Russia just decides not to bother now? Ah well, we lost the race... let's scrap this big rocket we spent all that money making?

We can barely get out of the Earth's atmosphere without problems, let alone get up there, land on the moon safely, and then come back...

It was but I lost a girlfriend as the landing was taken place. The moon looked so near that as she was looking at it, she suddenly tought that the moon would come crashing upon us. She said: You Jerks! It is supposebly made for honeymooners! Now! I am out of love dreamings! But it was over! As the moon was crashing upon earth in a very near future? And the loving, also! It was nice, they landed on the moon! 1969! Was not it? The french girl just love to honeymoon.

Yes we landed on the moon. Our government is just not smart enough to perpetuate a hoax that big. That said, we could not go back today. Most of that technology has been lost.

I believe that we've been there since the first landing, but the televised first landing was a fraud. America just had to keep up it's superior image to the world and beat the Russians in the "space race".

We didn't have the technology and the whole thing doesn't add up. I believe the rocket launched, the televised moon walking was taped in area 51 and then they came back down out of orbit a few days later

if they were why are we in such a hurry to beat the chinese back up there.. and why would it take so long to plan a moon mission if we done it before we should be able to do it in 6 months.. and with our advances in telescopes.. why dont we have one we could see the stuff they left up there.. ? i admitt i did see something reflecting light like a mirror one time on the surface.. but no way of telling what it was..

I think there is a strong possiblility they weren't real. Why have we not been back? Was this really possible in 1969. I certainly wouldn't put it past our government to fabricate this. I wish we knew.
