Why do Americans hate you? I find your accents.............. interesting! Can someone tell me why you are hated

we are not hated, LOL i hate to tell you this but if an american and a Canadian were to go on a trip to somewhere else, the Canadian would be treated better, its interesting that you say that, but you are dead wrong, lol

I'm not exactly sure that ALL Americans hate Canadians. Just as ALL Canadians don't hate Americans. A lot of the mis-trust,etc. comes from our so called 'leaders', who continually put their feet in their mouths and rant away. Most of us are just trying to go about our daily business, just as you are. Some of the dislike is because of our previous 'leaders' take on Bush's war, and our lack of support. What is forgotten is that we basically have no military. At least nothing that compares with that of the U.S of A. With a national population the size of your New York State we can hardly equal your military might. Also, too many of us come off as sounding morally superior. Big egos have big mouths. I apologize for the many boors that make it into our media.

It's not that I hate Canadians. But I do not respect a whole lot of them. Maybe some of the reasons stem from them booing and showing no respect for our national anthem at sporting events.
I've been to Canada many times, since I live near the border, and my kids participate in sporting events there.
My daughter was in a hockey tournament and the kids she played against were extremely rude, swearing and degrading the USA, like it was her decision to invade Iraq. Even the refs were acting immature, they were teenagers.
I have a good friend who is French Canadian, and he told me it is mostly the Anglo-Canadians who are arrogant. And from the treatment I have received there I believe him.

i don't know,maybe cause were not a real military nation ,or we have never lost a war either,maybe cause are beer isn't like water,yup thats a good reason,we get free and cheap medical,grow better pot,B.C. bud is the best
