If you are scared, in physical pain or are bleeding above and beyond your heaviest period then do not wait. Nurses deal with this everyday and become numb to peoples own capabilities. You know your own body and you know what is right and best for you. Go to the hospital and make sure they do not leave you sitting in the waiting room in tears, ask for a side room and do not leave until they help you.

If you start soaking a pad every hour, go to emerg right away. Lay down and rest, don't do anything, pretty much bed rest, and see if the bleeding slows down. But trust me, if the flow is heavy, without clots, and you are soaking a pad an hour, get to emerg right away, signs of hemmorage. Try and relax and don't be scared, everything will be fine. Just keep a close eye on things. Good luck

Poor you honey, please go straight to A&E, if it is a miscarrage they will be there to help and no what to do, It may also be a threatened miscaraige, again they will help, it may also be just spotting, but if you are bleeding alot you need to go NOW!
Typical of a nurse to say that, she was probably in the middle of a lunch break, and some? nurses are not very caring, when it comes to miscarrage early on in pregnancy.. I say some before anyone shouts at me, as I know many nurse and they are all lovely. Best wishes to you, hope it all works out well.

I'm sorry to hear that you miscarried honey. You already did the right thing to do on calling a nurse. Don't be worried, and keep doing what she tells you, and keep calling her if you start feeling bad, the nurse should know what she's telling you, so just remain calm and then go to A&E.
Good luck honey, and call that nurse everytime you want, that's what they are there for

I would ring your GP. I'm not sure they will do anything if you were to go to A & E as you are already booked in to have the D & C. If you are having cramps, take paracetamol NOT asprin as that thins your blood and will make the blood loss worse.
I am sorry for your loss and hope tomorrow goes okay. Take care x

Go straight to the hospital obviously it is something to worry about. The nurse you spoke must be talking rubbish she shouldn't have told you that at all. Just do what you think you have to.

I know you must be really scared right now, and I feel for you, truly...but you must try to relax, stay calm and rest, lots of rest - nothing strenuous
Keep a weather-eye on what's happening, maybe keep changing so you can see if it's letting up
I'll be keeping everything crossed for you
Good luck
