Normally my period would be around 4 days but this month its going on day six and I am kinda nervous because its longer and heavier. What should I think, do?Please only helpful answers.

Actually it's really not that odd. You've been pretty lucky for it to only last 4 days, but if you are worried, I would give it a day or two and if it doesn't stop check with your doctor.

If you're not using hormonal birth control, it might be expected. Every once in a while the body has extra stress, extra hormones, etc., and your period might fluctuate longer or shorter than "expected." Also, remember that women's bodies change throughout our lifetimes, so just because you've "always" had a 4-day period, you may get a longer one as you get older.

As long as you're not having to change your tampon or pad every 1-2 hours because of heavy bleeding, it probably is nothing to worry about. If however, it extends past 10 days, I'd make an appointment with your doc and make sure everything is ok.

DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!please!!!! okay the period is supposed to last 3 to seven days and if it at one point lasts seven days i suppose it alright but mine last about5 to 6 days (does what it feels like) and yeah if i passes the seven days then maybe you can have an infection...

i would say its probably nothing to worry about it. the length of a period varies from one motnh to the next.
if you are genuinly worried then go see the doctor. he can certainly put your mind at ease.

Has there been any change in your diet or exercise routine? Stressed out? Medication? Injury?
