WVU's offense is unstoppable, no matter who the opponents defense tries to key on their someone else that can step up an make a play to spread them out. The defensive secondary does need a little work, but I think the run defense is ok. I trust in Rod to get the secondary under control and roll on to a undefeated season and hopefully a national championship.
Lets Goooooooooooooooooooo Mountaineers!!!!!

You are about right. I am a MD fan and WVU's offense just had too much speed and was too well coached. Their offense is great but somebody will be able to slow your running game and then your lack of a passing game will be exposed. The questionable defense was evident in the fact that MD, who is an average team at best, basically won the last three quarters. The tremendous speed and outstanding coaching of WVU allowed them to jump to an early lead and then hold on for dear life, just as they did in their bowl game last year against Georgia.
WVU is a quality team who will be helped by laugher of a schedule. If they want to compete with the best teams in the nation the defense will have to improve and some semblance of a passing game will have to develop.

With the injuries to Louisville the Backyard Brawl may be WVU's first tough game. Even if you think Pitt can't stand up to them remember they were able to hold through about 3 quarters last year. Depending on how Louisville manages to do against WVU it shouldn't be too tough for them this season.

White & Slaton are the best QB/RB running combo in Football right now. Obviously the game at Louisville will determine the conference champion again & their defense looked great against Miami

It was an awesome game. You are right though, the defense did have some trouble. I am sure that is being worked on this week in practice. The offense is extremely strong. I believe we are going to be a strong opponent regardless who we play in the Bowls!

Not much to think about, West Virginia kicked the turtle stuffing out of Maryland (and all in the first quarter to boot). West Virginia is a team to be reckoned with. I was pulling for Maryland because they are in the ACC, (I live in North Carolina and we are ACC territory), but I have to give it to the Mountaineers, they are tough!!
