If you look tan, you might really look yellow, from your liver being over taxed from drinking so much, jaundice.
I would call the doctor back and mention this syptom. Im sure they gave you after care instuctions that you should follow. They might want you to come back in to make sure its not jaundice and that your liver is okay.

If you are dehydrated you need to drink lots of fluids, not just water. Juices and gateraide are good for you too. I recommend propel water for dehydration because of the electrolytes in the water. Try not to over do it by working around the house too much. Relax, rest and drink plenty of fluids. Also, you need to eat as well. soups are good for you. try to avoid solid foods for a few days too. Hope you get better :)

lol... i don't even know how to answer this... but it's probably your blood trying to flow through your body. So it's giving you a more colorful or flush look. It could also be the medication they gave you that gave you oxygen that went into your bloodstream that gave you color. Sometimes when you get really sick you will realize that your skin get's alot darker. Expecially when you get sick when you throw up too much. I'm very fair skinned and it's happened to me before. But lord have mercy how did you drink too much water? lol.....

You need to see a doctor. Instead of being tan you may be jaundiced.
