I assume a "BE" is the same thing as a Bachelor of Science degree.

Generally, engineering grads are going to be able to find work in their field of study, and it pays pretty well also.

Not JUST by getting the degree, but distinguish yourself, make good grades, excel at your internship, impress your professors.
The degree alone is never enough. But it gets by a lot of barriers. But if you make bad grades and don't go to work you still won't be able to keep a job. If you suck in the interview the degree won't matter.

It is easy. There are plenty of opportunities:
power utilily company,
computer manufacturers,
computer network intergrators,
defense industries, air force, navy
aerospace industries,
software houses,
banks,
telecommunications companies,
phone manufacturers..

the list goes on and on..
