I asked that question for a reason.
I am a New Orleans citizen, have been all my life.
Majority of the answers I received were from whites who seemed to be very offended. That lets me know that each and everyone of you who answered me with sarcasium may possibly be racist.
The nasty attitudes that you all had were not necessary at all. Thankyou very much.

lady most of the idiots in goverment that left you and family down there is a bunch of races idiots so don't let it get you down they only reconize the peoples who die in 9/11 not the peoples who die in katrina and you know those who die in 9/11 were all white peoples .

Am I a racist, certainly not. All races are equal in my eyes and that's what I want.
But not all people are, and you seem to be a very dull pencil. I'm sorry, for what happened in New Orleans. It really is very sad and although I'm curious as to the events that lead up to that... I don't really know if it was a government conspiracy or the slow-moving tendancies of the same government. What I do know, however, is that saying "Your comments will be published to all of New Orleans" is kinda immature. So you, some girl on Y! is going to take a website... and show it to everyone in New Orleans. Do you know how many people just wouldn't care?
I'm sorry for the tragedies in your life, I sincerely am. But you don't have to make yourself look like a fool by replying on a Q&A site to previous answers and being all offended. People are stupid, deal with it.

I read all the answers to your last two questions. So, you take it as possible racism? You need to rethink your opinion. Publish this to all in New Orleans - this poll was not scientific, just a random sample off of Yahoo. Having a hurricane hit cannot be planned. The levees were not blown up, unless you have proof otherwise. It was a damn shame how your local leaders did not act in time, as well as the national disaster relief. Nobody wised this on you or anyone else.

I know what you mean. There has been allot of nasty comments going around lately...isn't it sad? We should all love each other for what is on the inside..not the outer shell. The nasty comments that some people have posted were unacceptable, and should be reported. There was no need for some of those people to become vulgar and down right disgraceful to you. I say do what you must do...they owe you an apology.

What, white people aren't allowed to be offended? We've been blamed for every ill that has befallen the black people but blaming us for a hurricane is just an example of how stupid people, be they black or white, can be. I'm sure all of us that responded are shaking in our little boots (our little white boots) at the thought of being published to all of New Orleans.
