A browser is the program you use to look at web pages, if you have a PC the default browser is Internet Explorer, if you have a Mac, you are probably using Safari. If you go to http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ you can download Firefox for free. It's what all the cool kids are doing.

Serch for "Mozilla" or "opera". Download from the site and install. Then you can use that browser instead of IE.
