What are the rules?
I heard one can be half jewish. But the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" says otherwise, the groom has to convert.

There are no rules. you can marry anyone you want. Only problem is going to be around the holidays.What church/synagogue do you attend or both, and raising children. what beliefs are you going to instill in them? you both have to be on the same page when it comes to raising children. That is pretty much a good rule.
My husband is Jewish , and I am not. we raised our daughter a christian. We celebrate christian holidays. This was easy because we lived so far away from his family. Now we live within driving distance , and of course are invited to attend all Jewish holidays. we don't always go. The best part is we get to invite them over for Christmas . It's pretty neat to have a Christmas tree and presents , with Hanukkah gifts (money) on the tree.
There is no such thing as half Jewish. It's a religion not a race.

You can, but it sure does bring a whole set of other problems later. I know families of different faiths who have married. Some make it work and others really struggle.

Yes, if the person converts, its that much better but they don't have to.

You should be free to marry whomever you chose no matter what race or religion.
