Yes, you can wear panties...but make them cotton for a few reasons.
1) Cotton tends to be more comfortable and less binding
2) Cotton breaths! If you are worried about your vag breathing and getting air...cotton will allow air to get in/out
3) Cotton is more absorbent and easier to clean/get stains out of
You should not wear panties to bed if you can because you do need to get air down there to take care of excessive moisture so germies don't grow...my mom told me this and she was a nurse! It totally worked for me too! Congrats!

alot of females think it is not safe because of germs but it is safe to wear under garments just make sure you stay properly cleaned and your panties too its the same as if you were not pregnant you can get anything like a yeast infection with them on as off if you are not properly clean

It is ok to wear underwear during pregancy as long as they are not too tight. I found that the bikini underwear wear the most comforable for me, because they wear under my stomach. I know that they sell maternity underwear, but I never tried those.

Maybe if you wore them more often, you wouldn't have a problem.
