I'd like to find some sort of perfume to wear for special occasions but I'm really sensitive to certain smells. Anything that is fruity or flowery makes me sick. I need something that's woodsy or smoky and I can't find anything at the department stores....any suggestions?

Try Sandalwood scents. The Body Shoppe carries natural scents.

Try some of the body sprays at Bath and Body Works, I know they have a few woodsy smells. I don't know if the have perfume, but the body spray works well for me. Try a Rosemary scent, that is a nice woodsy scent.

I am allergic to things that smell, and its hard to find a good perfume. I have found that I have to buy a good brand. Nothing from the drug store or any place like that. You should go to a good department store, Macys, Dillards, Proffits, Belks, etc and try some out. They will give you samples if you explain your situation.

Pure poison (by Dior) - it's very sensual, oriental and musky, but not overly flowery, overpowering, and definitely not fruity at all. It's perfect for special occasions.

Try Burberry for women. It smells very sexy not fruity or flowery. You can get a little tester at Walmart for about 10.00.

You can try going to Southpoint and you know the little booths that people sell there on products take a look at those or you can go to the dollar tree.

Thierry Mugler - Angel, Angel Innocent or his Alien - These are the BEST. Also, Euphoria by Calvin Klein is awesome as well! Buy them off of Ebay they are half the price of the dept. stores. Trust me on this one girlfriend..........................

I really like Georgio Armani-Sensi. I wear it because I don't think its too strong, its feminine but doesn't have me smelling like a "little girl."
