I was 20 and single. She was 26 and married. She, her husband and I were all friends. It wasn't worth it. The cost is greater than the gain.

YES, and NO... respectively.
Feels good at the time. Doesn't every time you look at your husband afterwards and to know inside that he loves you more than anything and you're BETRAYING him.
That kinda stuff keeps you up at night. Don't do it!

No not worth it, felt like I deserved it at the time b/c my husband was ignoring me. Turns out the only winner was my ex-husband, who did it on purpose, knew that turning a cold shoulder would drive me to someone else, so that he could divorce me w/o his church friends thinking bad of him.
I should have just stayed with the asshole and made him suffer. Now I will have to work to support my self for the rest of my life, will never be able to afford to retire.
Cost me dearly in many ways.

I never had an affair and can't imagine it would be worth hurting family and friends.

i don't know whether it is worth to have an affair (i.e. after marriage )as i have not tried & i don't intend to try it & spoil my mariied life.i am very happy as i am now thank you.

it wasn't really an affair it was more like do-fo-do. he was cheating on me so i just returned the favor.
