Go to www.blogger.com...it's free, sign up and carefully follow the instructions step by step. There are many programmes you can use and everyone will have a favourite but 'blogger' is very popular and fairly easy to learn........you dont need to know any of the HTML code they speak of to start, it'll done for you. ....You can see a page made using blogger (my page) at http://newszealand.blogspot.com/
Half the fun after you become familar with the basics is learning how to alter the layout etc etc......good luck.
