Are Yahoo Alerts very intermittent?

Question

I have set up four alerts under Stocks. Three under Daily Summary and one My Market Summary. I almost never get them. They should come daily on days the market is open. I have tried alternate email addresses.

Is anyone else having this problem?
I have sent comments to the Yahoo Alerts site but never get a reply.
Anybody know of a more reliable source of market closing prices? Like maybe google finance?

Well, maybe for today but what about the last 2-3 weeks? They have ben coming less than 10% of the time.
