Report them as SPAM and your ISP will block them from being delivered to you.

I can only think of two ways

1) Use a spam filter on your email software (if you download to your computer).

2) If you use yahoo or hotmail etc try changing to a new email account with a more random address (if your address has a name and number). if it is a work address then this may not obviously be possible.

Never answer financial questions from an email and never click the link it gives you. Always go to the bank or credit card webiste and call the customer service number to detemine if it is real or not. Almost all of these types of emails are scams and just trying to take your hard earned money.

While the previous answers are true, SPAM won't be stopped until people stop buying things based on SPAM e-mails...Or people stop being stupid enough to open and follow the directions on phishing e-mail.
In the end it is up to computer users to stop SPAM...

Forward it to Barclays - it's in their interests to deal with the source.

Be careful, as they could contain a virus. Just click them as SPAM without reading them.

Do both, report it ot Barclays so they can make other customers aware, and also to your email issuers, they can then report this and look into this further to illiminate it.
