I graduated from college about a year ago and I just started working at a steady job six months ago, I'm just reestablishing myself and need some cash to get settled in a place of my own (I've been sleeping on a friends couch!) I am more than willing to pay the 5000 back but I'm afraid with my credit, I don't qualify at my bank.

Do you have anything that qualifies for collateral (car...)? If you do and it's worth more than $5,000, you might be able to use it to get a loan.

Do you know anyone foolish enough to co-sign a loan for you? If you do, and you default on the loan, they have to pay it.

Does your employer have any kind of employee-loan program?
