I don't think that's true. The smoke blows in the direction of the wind. But the smell of smoke is very clingy, so you can still smell smoke when it's no longer blowing on you. In addition, the smoke is an irritant and you really notice it when it's blowing on you. Thus, even if it only blows on you occasionally, you may feel like it's "always" blowing on you, no matter where you go.

Is that true??? Hmm...from the logical... i think is that so happen then because there is different temperature between body and the smoke no matter where your are seating. This different temperature then will affect the moving of the smoke. From the high temperature (smoke) to the low temperature (body).

It tends to blow towards you even when you're upwind from it because of wake turbulence. The wind blowing past your body acquires a swirling (rotational) motion downwind from you and this brings the smoke back upwind.

Sometimes it rains on only me too.
