Heard it on the radio, and it sounded as if it was a remake of an old Elton John song, but it sounded like Nickelback was performing it. Anyone know the name of the song or if it was redone by Nickelback?

Good question! I'm not sure on Nickelback. If you could get some lyrics, It would be a huge help.
I know Kid Rock remade "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)", Tim McGraw did "Tiny Dancer" & both Juice Newton & Keith Urban have done remakes of "Country Comfort".

The only Elton John song that I can think of that was remade was "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me," which was remade by George Michael. It was a live version and Elton John actually sang on it as well.
