I'm a 20yr old male and to be honest, i have a foot fetish. As part of this, i have often wondered, as i'm sure many others without a fetish have wondered - why do women like shoes? Is it like men and cars or what is it? Also, what would a woman think if out of the blue a man was to compliment her feet/shoes, has it ever happened to anyone?

There is a nice UPS guy who delivers packages to my work. He loves shoes and feet, he told me this the first time I meet him so there would be no weird feelings. I love for him to tell me I have cute shoes on or that he likes the color of nail polish. I think it is great when men notice small things like that about me. To me it shows that he pays attention to detail. It is easy to say that you like someones eyes (you should have already noticed them), but to notice something like shoes (You know anything below the butt is nice) that it even better!

Shoes always fit no matter how much weight you've put on or lost. Best thing to buy after a bad day shopping where nothing fits.
Its never happened to me but if I did receive a compliment on my feet/shoes I would think he had a foot fetish as its an unusual comment to make.

Women like shoes because no matter how fat we feel our feet never change size... I can walk into any department store and order shoes in my sixe and they always fit! Also there is something about wearing a beautiful pair of shoes that just make you feel good.
The fastest way to get a woman to smile is to compliment her shoes.

I happen to like feet. I take VERY good care of mine (always have polished toenails, too) and I like to wear shoes that show them off. I LOVE it when a man compliments me on my feet--also, I could NEVER date a guy with ugly feet. I'm like that with hands, too--hands and feet are two of the first (not the first, but they're up there) things that I notice about a person.

My husband has a foot fetish actually, and he compliments me on my feet and shoes everyday. As for why we love shoes?

I love shoes, especially real cute shoes, see my feet are very small and people are always admiring them i wear size six and i am twenty..... never mind I just love my feet.
