I am in a bit of trouble. I switched partners between July and August and just found out September 12th that I am pregnant. I had sex with one partner July 11th and the second on August 15th. I was supicious I was pregnant at the beginning of August and took a pregnancy test on August 1st but it came back negative. I took another August 21st and it also came back negative. I took a third on September 12th and it came back positive. My HCG level was at 24,700. My doctors office said I could be anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks but they could not be certain. I had a period on July 4th and I was spotting for two days during the last week of July. Who would I be pregnant by? Mr July or Mr August?

Wow...that is complicated. I would suspect Mr. July myself since you had a period in the beginning of July and not in August. Make sure you get an ultrasound that way the Dr. can get an idea of how big the baby is and thus have a "better" idea of gestation. However since the two partners were so close together they may only be able to give their best guess at gestation. I know you may not want to hear this but I think you are going to have to get a paternity test when the child is born to make absolutely certain of who the father is. To live with not knowing 100% is a heavy burden for you to carry and then to pass on to your child. It is also not fair to either man. Being a parent is a huge blessing that comes with lots of responsibility and that starts now. Enjoy your pregnancy and I wish you the best with everything. Remember, although things may be hard and difficult now if you do things in the right way eventually things will smooth out.

if your HCG levels were at 24,700 then it was probably July. My friend is pregnant now and her last period was July 3. she just turned 11 weeks pregnant. Although, she took a test on Aug. 1st as well and it came out positive. I'm surprised that the test you took on aug 21st came back negative. HCG levels double every 48 to 72 hours. They stop escalating at around 12 weeks of pregnancy . If you do the math you would be 12 weeks along in about 1 week. If your numbers keep doubling every 2days or so that would bring you to 197,600 right at the 12 week mark. so it stands to reason that you are about 11 weeks pregnant right now. and the spotting you experienced at the end of July was implantation bleeding. I would ask your Dr. for an ultrasound because they can tell to the day how far along you are but i can almost guarantee it was Mr. July.

Since you had a period on July 4th, I would suspect that your guy is Mr August. If the beginning of your period was July 4th, then you are presumed NOT to be pregnant for 10 days from the onset of your period. That would be July 14th before you were fertile. So, you could not have conceived on the 11th.

I would guess would be Mr July...the spotting at the end of July could have beenimplantation bleeding...don't be embarrassed it happens. You may jsut want to tell both guys, and have a paternity test when the baby is born to be able to tell for sure.

It could be either. It's not unusual to have a light spotty period when you first get pregnant so it could be Mr. July. You can always have a dna test done, but your doctor might be able to pinpoint the date better by doing an ultrasound. Good luck.

Don't be embarrassed! I can tell you with confidence that this is you're second partners baby. You would definitely have had a positive HPT by August 11 if it was partner #1's. Congratulations and good luck to you!

from the test u took on aug.21 would make it seem like it would be mr aug. because it should have should u pos. if it was mr. july. but u did spot so it makes it seem like him but the level do seem to be high but is was alomst another month later which can still make it mr aug. so it seems like mr. july is out of the question. but thing to do is ask them who didn't pull out and u would really know then but it seems like ol Aug.15th the papa. congrats and good luck

i say u r most likely pregnant with mr july. after all u did have sex after ur period. and u havent had one since then
