I had surgery in may and now my stomach is hurting again during sex. We were hoping to have a baby but I'm afraid that it has grown back. Can it grow back that quick after surgery. It was very successful they removed it all and opened one of my tubes. One had to much scare tissue but the other is open completely. If anyone could give me a little advise that has been through this I would be very greatful

Sadly, endo can come back. I've had two surgeries for it (almost exactly a year apart) and sometimes I still have the pains, though not as bad as pre-op pains. If you're concerned, talk to your doctor. I'm including a link to where I went to get all my endo info when I was diagnosed.

I too had surgery for endo in January of 2005, by the end of February I was miserable. After a long while of different meds they did another surgery in june of 2006. They found on top of that I have PCS which involves the veins and that causes me extreme pain with the same symptoms of endo. They may have to scrape again or they may find something else out. Have they asked you about trying Lupron. They were pushing that on me, but I am against the medication. Too many side effects, but there are some women who respond very good to it.

The doctor thinks I have endometriosis, but I still need to have the exam to confirm this. I have really bad pain in my back when I'm menstruating, so far, no pain during intercourse.

I definitely agree that you should see your doctor again. Especially if you are trying to become pregnant. You can talk about your options of doing surgery again, taking fertility drugs, or even getting your egg fertilized with your husband's sperm outside of your body, and getting that placed inside your uterus.

In the meantime, I know it takes a way the spontaneity a bit, but do some advanced planning and take some pain-killers before being intimate with your husband. It can't be helpful to your relationship to have negative, painful feelings when you're being intimate.

I hope all goes well.
