1) Mecca is not a capital; 2) Use of nuclear weapons is not sanctioned; 3) Islam is a religion of peace and understanding (though often perverted by deviant fundamentalists to support violence); 4) Targeting a religious shrine is unacceptable; 5) The backlash from the Muslim community would be horrific; and 6) There are far too many innocents who would perish.

Please stop the hate campaign. Have you once started thinking from their side. Even though they are working hard and doing everything to make the world a better place to live because of some hardliners, the entire muslim community is being targeted. What has Mecca got to do with whatever the terrorists are doing. They are after all misguided youth. Do you know what IRA did ? It is one way of expressing their hatred for a particular reason. Mecca is a holy place and do not drag Mecca into this.

Sure why not nuke them and while you're at it nuke every other country in the world.
It seems that instead of thinking of ways to work on world peace people just want to nuke everyone so instead of peace we'll have all out war but who will be around to think about it when it's all over?
Just because we don't like a country is no reason to nuke them. They are a country that has no idea of what compassion or reality is and all they have on their minds is terrorism and murder so why not show them as well as every other country that we are just as mean and hatefull as they are and maybe we can get a few more countries to hate us too and they can hijack planes full of innocent people and fly into even more buildings too.
WHY NOT TRY TO THINK OF GOOD WAYS TO WORK ON WORLD PEACE INSTEAD OF WAR??????
My answer is NO, do not nuke them because that's just asking for even more problems then we already have.

No, I don't think that would be the right way. Mecca is in Saudi and you can't nuke anything. However I wonder, when are the Muslim leaders who do not advocate violence are coming forward and apologize for the fanatic actions of their people.

Who gave you the right to judge Muslims, and then suggest to Nuke our holly city or any city if we talk??!
Islam is a religion of peace, and not just bcoz some crazy ppl are giving us this stereotype of terrorism, then all of us r terrorists.
Islam taught us to respect all religions, all prophets, and all holly places. basically all what we r asking for and expecting as well is the same respect to us, our religion, our prophet, and our holly city (mecca).
Please try to read more about Islam from a trusted source, and u'll know what I'm saying is right. Visit any Muslim country (Arab or non-Arab),talk to a cultured Muslim, and u'll c how peaceful ppl are.

Go ahead, try it. You would only prove their point... violence only leads to violence. War and Terror should not be allowed to exist in this world, and that includes your blinkered opinion too.
Try to understand the situation is a little deeper than a simple knee jerk hatred towards Americans. Why do they do what they do? Why do the Americans feel that they have to control the whole world?
here are lots of unanswered questions, but none will be answered by violence.

And then we can nuke your temple, church, congregation....Violence doesn't solve any problems. It generally only creates more. Just because we see that the radicals in any religeon are the ones who perpetrate the hate/discontent doesn't mean that all members of that religeon are bad. If you really study most religeons they are based on good works and good behaviour - the golden rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. And there is something to the theory of karma - what goes around, comes around.

I don't think so. Even if there are terrorists hiding there, what will happend to the innocent? It will take you to the level of the terrorist.
Once you do that, if a terrorist is hiding out in California, will you nuke California, too?

Isalm has been battling and has won since 400 AD, Mecca became their capital shortley after that like about 800 ad, so what would be the point we will have put ourselves on there level and we are above that, don't you think.
